Hello, I’m the caretaker.
Finally it is the painting of the main body. I painted a shade close to the genuine color with gradation painting.
Paint used
I bought about 3 colors to make Nu Gundam. There are many colors that can be used once and never used again.
Painting
Inner
The inner frame is painted with pearl + matte clear based on black. Partially accented with black + cranberry red pearl to express the difference in metal.
Cranberry red pearl is currently discontinued and is not available, so you need to mix it with pearl + clear red to make the color.
I also use a little gold.
I used black + pearl (blue) for the backpack because I wanted to create an atmosphere of different metal materials. The blue feeling was stronger than I expected. Basically, you can see only a little, so it may be good to have a stronger impression.
Gundam marker for one-point painting. The accent is added to improve the mechanical feel.

Since the main camera etc. shines, silver with high light-shielding property is partially applied to the base.
Since the light of the LED unit enters from the lower part of the parts, I protected it with masking sol in advance.
Black is applied to the entire surface, and finally the eyes are wiped off with a cotton swab moistened with lacquer solvent.

Verniers such as calf ducts and shoulders are painted gold with a can spray.
Although it is a part unit, just by lightly color-coding it, the mechanical feeling will be improved considerably.
Sumi put
Black and gray are used for the stain case.
Gray is used for the navy blue part, and black is used for the others.
Decal
This time I put on quite a lot of decals. There were many small decals, and it was hard in middle age when I was getting presbyopia. The decal alone took about two days.
Decals with large calves are prone to wrinkles, so they are treated with a mark softer.
Completion
Painting is complete. The color is as expected.
After all it took time because there are many parts, but I feel that it went smoothly. Perseverance is the point.
Navy Bull has a gradation paint, but when I blow the matte clear from above, I can hardly see the gradation. It might have been good to mix white etc. to match the lighter color.
I think white and gray are nicely organized.
Next is the final work, weathering.
