This time it is the creation of the Cuvelay Ambérieur, released by Premium Bandai.
This kit is based on the previous Kyubele in the MS appearing in Build Divers, with parts partially changed. The characteristic feature is still the arms. The large, grotesque fingers are cool. The abdomen and legs have also been modified and brushed up in conspicuous parts.
This is a record of the build of such a cubelay. See also.
First, start with temporary assembly. The parts are large and relatively easy to assemble.
It has been a long time since I painted gloss. It took a lot of time due to manual work.
The QUBELEY EMBELLIR is completed. I feel that it took a lot of time because it was a different gloss paint job from usual. It took about 18 days from opening to completion.
It was quite large and difficult to paint.
I wanted to try spraying the UV resin with an airbrush, but I gave up this time because it seemed to destroy the underlying paint film. I thought that if I sprayed it on and irradiated it with a UV light, it would harden immediately and improve my work efficiency, but I’m disappointed. I would like to do some more research and try again.
The fluorescent pink used in this case is quite an aggressive colour in person, but in photographs it looks quite calm.
It was a fairly large kit, but the parts are large and I think it is fairly easy to put together. The painting surface is also large, so gradation painting etc. seems to be quite cool. I would like to make it differently from this time because the same one will arrive in a few months.
Thank you for watching until the end.
I bought an action base when I completed this QUBELEY EMBELLIR. Because QUBELEY is quite large, I chose a thing with a large base. The old action base had to be stopped with a screwdriver, but the one I bought this time is easy because it can be made only by fitting. The arm for the main body and the arm for the weapon are attached, and it has become a specification that I am grateful for kits that are equipped with large weapons.
